So I've been offered a MOC Parasol (the US version) which I'd love to buy...but she wants a wopping $75USD for it ...and with the current exchange rate we all know that'll mean $110 plus shiping another $20 USD Is it just me or if that a bit OTT??? I know the last time one ended on Ebay it went for about $30USD and that was when the market was good, still kicking myself for not buying that one....

Honestly I'd put her around $45-$50US depending on condition of the card. MOC's are so hard to price, at the moment there seems to be a little more demand for them though. I've noticed alot more MOC collectors online the last year, contributing to the prices we are seeing now. I wish I stocked up when prices were lower lol. Depending on condition of the card and wether they are chasing a quick sale, I'd throw an offer at them. Good Luck AusMlp

Looks like I won't be buying it, she's unwilling to reduce the price & won't even provide Pic's unless I agree to buy it....I don't think so....

I am a sucker for G1 MOCs......as everyone - price is the deterant! However I just sold some ponies and the Paypal account was looking good - so I bought a MOC Gingerbread...........$100 including postage! She LOOKS white and wonderful on the Ebay photo.........hope she stays that was till she gets here!!!!!!!! Other MOC/MIB I do have - are usually round that price because of the bad exchange rate - I don't/won't buy them - but it is hard to resist! I have bought some MIB in the past including a DIAMOND DREAMS - I paid $75 US about 3-4 years ago! Now I see one on Ebay - BIN $300+! Right time - right place - NO mine is NOT for sale!

The MOC price range has virtually halved in the last twelve months! When things pick back up you can expect the prices to average $70 - $120 for the sought after MOCs that aren't everywhere. The first set of TAFs and a few other sets go as low as US$40 a pop. Parasol I would offer $60. It's still an okay deal Henpatch - you got a great deal on Diamond Dreams. My MIB DD cost US$250 with a BIN. I've seen them go a tonne lower so that sort of hurts right now LOL The harder to find MOCs start at around US$150 and go up and up. Last year I saw a number of them (such as 3rd year Sea ponies and 1st set of Princesses) hit over US$500 in bidding wars. Some of the big buyers that drove those bidding wars have backed off for a while, but these things cycle around and will be back when the next wave of cashed up collectors come in chasing them.

KC - Yep just looked her up The seller is an Arena member, I've bought some of my MIB ponies from her in the past and she was really good to deal with. I'd love the Piggy, but can't justify the spending. I don't even have a loose Piggy yet
